When I think about the word “FRIDAY”, The Cure song comes in mind.

“I don’t care if Monday’s blue
Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don’t care about you
It’s Friday I’m in love”

This Friday I’m Berry In Love ft Lancôme Juicy Shaker.

Lancôme was founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean in France – originally a fragrance house. I think today it’s more know for it’s make-up and skincare. Especially their Hypnôse mascaras.

The name “Lancôme” was inspired by the ruins of a castle, Le Château de Lancosme, while the roses in the area inspired the company’s symbol of the single golden rose.*

I’m always excited to see what the brands come up with for their season releases. For the summer it’s mostly something bright and fun. This year Lancôme got us all excited and wanting one or two of their Juicy Shakers!

Cocktails and mixology is one of my other passions, so when I heard about these cute little shakers, I got really excited and couldn’t wait to play with them.

Lancôme Juicy Shaker is pigment infused Bi-Phase lip oil. Their 1945 original cocktail lipstick and well know Juicy Tubes served as an inspiration. It’s basically upgraded mix of those two.

It comes in a lots of different shades and has the cutest names out there. You can also take their Juicy Shaker test to see which shade would suit your personality the best. That adds even more fun to this so innovative product.

I got myself a 283 Berry In Love. As you can see in the pictures, it’s super cute and actually does look like a little cocktail shaker. This amazing lightweight oil is non-sticky and that’s the biggest bonus in my eyes. What can be worse than a lip product that works as a magnet for all of your hair.

I love the spongy cushion applicator. It is very different from your regular lip product applicator and it’s definitely another fun factor for this product.

It’s nourishing, smells fantastic and gives lips a nice shine without stickiness. It’s less pigmented than it looks in the bottle, but there are ways to work around it. To start, make sure you shake it well.

I found that dabbing definitely helps to get more color out of it. Also applying a couple of coats does the trick. Or for even better result, I used a lip brush, but it’s not very convenient on a go. You can also create beautiful shades by applying it on top of your choice of a lipstick.

But then again, it’s not really a lipstick, so it’s not suppose to give you a full coverage.

Just shake it up and enjoy a nice fruity deliciousness on your lips.
