Good morning my lovelies. I have been MIA due the motherhood and immune system failures. I will try to catch up, as I have so many posts I want to finish and share with you.
As you can tell by the title, I’m wrapping up my Project Pan Inspired. Before I do that, I want to say thanks to Stashy from Stash Matters and Jodi from A Brash Attitude for an unintentional inspiration. It was a fun project that I will probably repeat in the future, what a great way to use up the forgotten products in your stash. Let me tell you, that it was challenging at times.
During the PPI I was able to finish quite a bit of products, mostly skincare. That makes me happy, as now I can switch to the ones, I really love.
In this picture you can see the products, I’m still working on. There’s not too much life left in the mascaras and foundation is ending soon. As for the scrub, there’s still quiet a bit left, but I’m totally okay with it, as I really like the product. Serum is ending soon, which makes me happy, as I can’t wait to bring back my double serum from Clarins – it’s the perfect season to start using it again. Powder is progressing in it’s pan showcasing (yay!). I definitely need to work more on the sleeping mask, as I haven’t used it as much as I thought I would during the project. But with the colder weather approaching, I believe it will be easier.
Yes, this also happened. My powder brush ended – haha. It took the PPI seriously, which is totally fine. I have a set of new ones, that are waiting for their spotlight.
There are two products left in PPI pile, I haven’t talked about just yet. Today is the day – a few words on Algenist Pore Corrector Anti-Aging Primer and Zax’s Dark Circle Eye Cream.
Algenist Pore Corrector Anti-Aging Primer
An anti-aging primer that visibly minimizes pores, imperfections, and oiliness to create a uniform canvas for flawless makeup application. Alguronic acid, salicylic acid, and a custom antioxidant and floral extract blend improves the appearance of skin’s texture, firmness, and tone, while providing a protective layer and targeting clogged pores over time.
Solutions for:
– Fine lines and wrinkles
– Pores
– Oiliness
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates
A fantastic primer. It is so lightweight, yet does a heavy duty tasks and performance. It feels super silky. After the use skin feels so very smooth to a touch and looks flawless – pores and fine lines vanish. It’s texture is somewhere between a cream and gel, just the right thickness.
I use very little of the product at once, as it glides on so nicely and evenly. Skin is left looking and feeling radiant, healthy, even toned, and makeup ready. Product is not cheap, but worth every cent and last a good while too, so when you do a math, it totally pays off.
Zax’s Dark Circle Eye Cream
“BOTHERED BY DARK UNDER EYE CIRCLES? PUFFY EYES? GOT ALLERGY EYE POCKETS? DO YOU ALWAYS LOOKS TIRED? WE CAN HELP!!
No time to go to the SPA? No problem! We use CUCUMBER EXTRACT its more effective then cucumber slices! Do your eyes need a wake up call? Our low dose of topical CAFFEINE will surely tackle that! Loose under eye skin/bags? That’s where the tannins in our WITCH HAZEL come in. Finally we also use NIACINAMIDE, which is Dr. OZ Recommended for dark spots.”
Zax’s Healthcare is a Canadian brand (Thornhill, Ontario). Their products are locally made with a natural ingredients and developed by pharmacists. You can read more about them and check what other great products they have on their website here.
I have a post on this eye cream from a while ago, if you want to see what I thought then – read it here.
I usually don’t suffer from dark circles or puffiness, but with a newborn in the house and a toddler that wants to wake up super early, non-existent sleep shows off on my face. This eye cream is a perfect weapon for tired eye look.
It’s texture is somewhere between cream and gel. It’s not too thick nor it’s too thin. Easy to apply, takes a little to absorb. It is suggested to wait up to 10 minutes before applying other products.
Important thing to remember is that all the skincare products take a few weeks to work. Brand asks you to wait from 2-4 weeks before giving your judgment. Zax’s is confident in their product performance and will give you your money back if you don’t see the improvement.
Let me just say – product works. It really works. It’s more like a medicine. It doesn’t have a fancy scent to it, it doesn’t have a sleek, showcase ready packaging, but the content really matters.
If you struggle with the under eye bags, dark circles, puffiness – give this one a try. I reach for this eye cream, when I need a little extra help.
Spontaneous idea, I have a DarkSpot Cream from Zax’s, that I would love to give to one of my readers/subscribers.

Finally, you can stop showing me up! 😥 😉
RIP powder brush! But you know, you could just glue that back onto the handle if you want. I’ve done that many times with my brushes.
You got me curious about that Zax’s dark circle eye cream now! So neat that it’s from Thornhill! Do they sell it in any stores?
And heck yeah, I’m entering this giveaway! Is the DarkSpot cream for hyperpigmentation all over the face?

Is the primer a lotion or thicker cream? I am having no luck with the usual suspects for pores, porefessional, MUFE smoothing. I think they may be to thick for me 😦

It has more of a cream/gel texture if that makes any sense – not as thin as gel and not as thick as cream.. let me add the picture to the post.

It’s around $30 and they also have a discount coupon on their website. It’s very good price considering that it actually works.
