It is the week 2, 3, 4? I know it hasn’t been that long, but I’m telling you – the struggle is real! I do feel spoiled when I say this as the products I’m using ain’t that bad, you know. Most of them just aren’t my favorites, nor would be my first choice.
I have an empty though –
Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel cream – “instantly quenches skin and keeps it looking smooth, supple and hydrated day after day.”
I am happy that I was able to finish it up. The scent this cream has is somewhat strong and was bothering me quite a bit. It is gel-cream that absorbs really quickly but I didn’t find the moisture to be long lasting. It gives you that instant hydration feel though, which is especially suitable for the summer mornings. I remember liking it when I first got the product, but my skin has changed along with the knowledge of what’s good for me and what works the best.
The final verdict – it’s a toss and is not coming back to my skincare routine.
Almost an empty –
Vichy Purete Thermale Cleansing foam radiance revealer
I actually like this product! It is great for dry and sensitive skin – a lightweight cleansing foam, that is gentle, smells amazing and cleanses perfectly. Pump makes it very easy, hassle and mess-free to use. I like that just a little bit of product gets the job done.
After the use, skin feels cleansed, fresh and looks radiant. I absolutely love that product didn’t leave my skin feeling dry as a lot of other cleansers tend to do that.
The final verdict – might get sad seeing it go. Definitely recommend. Might re-purchase it in the future.
Not even close to being empty for some good while –
Pure and Simple Hydration Serum – “A potent but gentle serum designed to hydrate and reduce skin sensitivity. Say goodbye to flaky and reactive skin! This nutrient-rich serum will recharge your skin at the cellular level with its soothing and hydrating properties.”
With the serums it is hard to see the instant result plus we always use it along with the other products too. I can’t tell if it has actually given me the promised radiant skin.
Serum is very, very lightweight and runny – it has the consistency of the water. Practically scent less. Absorbs right away. Again – great for summer, when you don’t want to pile up many products or when you’re looking for the ones that are lightweight.
The final verdict – not sure how I feel about it. I think I prefer serums with little more texture to them. Ingredients are good and I like the brand, just not really convinced about this product. I have few favorite serums, so I believe I can say, after this one is done it won’t come back to my skincare routine.
Project Pan Inspired struggle continues 🙂 New update next week.

It’s always challenging trying to finish up items that you don’t LOVE. I sometimes hit my limit and just have to toss them to make room for things that I really love – life’s too short to spend on mediocre stuff. 😛
But, good job on persevering with the Neutrogena!
